Dear "Miss Lisa", Words cannot fully express how much fun Sam and I had during our session of music class with you. Sam loves music, and with a dad who is a musician, he is never far from it. Thank you for giving me some very useful tools to enhance Sam's understanding of rhythm and rhythm patterns. We have had a great time making Music Together® in class with you, and we now know some new (and fun) ways to make music together at home, too! Your time and hard work are greatly appreciated.

Hi Lisa-I just have to send you a thank you for all you are doing to bring music into Caroline's life. We began with you when she was itty bitty and watching her change from season to season has been amazing. I was just floored today as she danced, followed your hand movements and even sang-the change since the spring is unbelievable! She is truly becoming a little musician! And how wonderful that she is doing all this in an environment that allows her to discover music freely and on her own terms. We sure were lucky to have found you! Thanks for all.

Dear Lisa-thank you for creating such wonderful memories for Ella and Cole through Music Together! Your classes have inspired us as a family to play music in the house and car and also relive our childhoods. Your class was the first class I took as a newcomer to Richmond and we thank you for the experience.

Lisa, we are looking forward to the new Winter semester. Baxter has really gotten into dancing when we sing Music Together songs. I am so happy my friend Melissa suggested this class, he just loves it so much. Given that he is my second child, out time alone together is limited. Having the music to put on and listen/dance to is so fun. He has started clapping, shaking his head and bouncing up and down. I'm just so glad we joined the class!

I really appreciate you providing a class for children with special needs. I love how I don't have to explain to anyone about Eli's special needs & behaviors. You make the class a very friendly & comfortable place for everyone. And most importantly Eli really enjoys it. Thanks so much! PS- I have to tell you this story- Eli loves the "Hello song" so we sometimes sing it at night & he gets to pick out the people he wants to say hello to. We usually say hello to Mommy & Daddy, Ca-Ca, Mackenzie, etc. But one night last week he wanted to say hello to the doors since he is is fascinated with doors. So there we were singing "Hello to the Doors, so glad to see you." You can really apply this music to about any & everything.

Miss Lisa, thank you so much for your wonderful Music Together Class. What a wonderful program- and I can tell that Brooks' appreciation of music is growing as a result. Your spirit and enthusiasm clearly make the class a fun and exciting time for the kids!

Hi Lisa,I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know how much we are enjoying your music class on Saturdays for children with special needs. I went out of town this weekend & when I returned home I was delighted to find my son singing & doing the motions for "Shoo, fly don't bother me" all by himself. It is such a safe & fun class- for all of us. I typically don't like attending "music, gym, etc" classes because most of them don't accommodate for kids with special needs & I feel like I need to explain his challenges to all the other parents & teachers. Your class is so refreshing. Again, I just wanted to say "thank you."

Dear Lisa, I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful class. I originally signed up at the suggestion of my doctor to help my daughter's development. I really think she has responded well to the class and I love how she lights up when I play the cd at home or in the car. Her big sister, of course, had a great time too. You will definitely see us in the 9:30 Tuesday class this fall while my older daughter is in school. Thanks again for a great experience. Looking forward to the fall. Thanks.

Lisa, I wanted to thank you so muchfor such a wonderful introduction to Music Together this summer. My girls just loved it and really embraced the music and movement that goes along with it! It is the number one requested CD in our car and at home and Julia just sits, smiles and claps as soon as the music comes on :)Thank you for being such an engaging teacher, you have a gift for connecting with these kids! I am really looking forward to the fall semester with Julia! I am on the board of the MOMS Club of Innsbrook and was wondering if you would have the ability or time to put together a class for us sometime in the next couple of months. I thought it would be a great way for other moms to have a glimpse of the wonderful classes that you do and also hopefully bring you more business! I know that you are doing MANY classes this fall and I totally understand if you are too busy, I just thought I would ask. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you in a few weeks! Susan

Hi Lisa, I know we'll see you in the morning for class but I just had to drop you a message tonight. It was so funny that last week in class we did the song about the one who loves you always comes back because I have been playing that song for Parker every time I get ready to drop him off somewhere. Of course, I rarely leave him anywhere, but when I do it's usually a HUGE production with lots of tears. So I had started playing that song and talking to him about the words. Well, yesterday I went to a meeting in a new place with all new people. I told Parker that morning that we were going to Church and that I was going to a meeting and that he'd get to play with the toys while I was in my meeting. When we got there, I bent down and told him that I loved him and that I'd be back in a little while. Parker just said, "Mommy always comes back". Apparently he kept saying that periodically while I was gone. And while there were a few quiet tears, there was no meltdown like we've always had in the past. For the rest of the day, he repeated the phrase and even fell asleep saying it last night. Anyway, just felt the need to share with you. What a lovely gift from music class - one that was certainly not expected!!

Hi Lisa. My daughter Elizabeth came to your class over the past 2 or so years with my mom; "Mimi". I was actually thinking of you over the past few weeks. I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for doing what you do. Elizabeth loved her time with you; she still talks about you. She is still loving music and I know a big part of that is because of the time she spent with you. She is constantly singing as she always has. She is participating in the choir at our church and even has a small solo. She loves it! Thank you again for helping to teach her the love of music. You do such a wonderful job with the kids; I know Elizabeth misses you. She is still very active with music and I expect it will always be a part of her. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

Lisa, Hi, there! I hope this note finds you well. Andrew LOVES music class - - you make it so fun! Andrew sings all the time and has started doing "Ba, ba, ba" with his hand. Every time someone comments on the falling leaves, he starts singing the song! I have really enjoyed watching him become more engaged. He has always loved music, but is really "in to it" now.
